It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Martinez of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandchild Santos Martinez-Villegas; and his grandparents, Rita, Modesto Martinez, Wanda Richardson and William Chancellor.
He is survived by: his daughter Esperanza Martinez of Portales; his parents, Sandra Martinez and Pete Martinez of Portales; his brother Joel; his sister-in-law Amanda Martinez of Portales; his sister Maria Truelove (Michael Johnson) of Portales; and his aunts and uncles, Joan Martinez-Terry of Portales, Mike, Sharon Pitocco and Harold "Tommy" Chancellor (Sandy) of Grants Pass, OR.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and a great nephew.
