He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Tapia; and his cousin Freddy Mirabel. He is survived by: his mother Julia Tapia; his brother Robert Anthony Tapia; his nieces and nephews, Estevan Tapia, Adam Tapia, Tatianna Tapia, Makayla Tapia and Ahnika Tapia; and his cousins, Yvette Tapia and Abel Mirabel.
