He was predeceased by: his son Stanley Richard Nelms. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia; his daughters, Claire (Cecil Halsell) of Lovington, Elizabeth Nelms and Charlie Deanna Nelms; his sister Vida Stoner of Carlsbad, NM; his nephew Steve (Jana Borland) of Artesia; his grandchildren, Noah Nelms of Lovington, Aiden Nelms of Lovington, Calista Halsell of Lovington, Joesie Graham of Lovington and Charlie Mya Lanning of Lovington; and also Ethel Nelms.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
