He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Edgar Springer and Louise Showalter Springer; his wife Cynthia (Jones) of Los Alamos; his brother Hugh Springer (Candy) of Roanoke; and his children, Kendall Springer (Melanie Mitchell) of Portland, Paul Springer (Carol Bloodworth) of Livermore, Marie Walczak (Mark) of Parma, Lydia Springer (Patrick) of Uppsala and Sweden. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association and COPD Foundation.
