It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Scammon of Los Alamos, New Mexico, born in Glendive, Montana, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Scammon and J. Lucile Scammon (Larson). He is also survived by cousins, coworkers, neighbors, friends and classmates.
