It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oland Thompson of Los Alamos, New Mexico, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oland Lay and Rosie Klechka Thompson; and his sister Barbara Sinclair. He is survived by: his close friend Sheila Girard; his children, Christopher Thompson (Susan) of Palestine, TX, Michael Thompson (Natalie) of Elkhart, TX and Lara Garman (Tim) of San Diego, CA; and his grandchildren, Erica Palmer (Steven), Allyson Peters (Luke), Bryan Thompson (Taylor), Luke Boykin and Nation Thompson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in memory of Dale Thompson, made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
