He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Leo and Florence Altgilbers; his former wife Katherine Trosky; his brothers, Melvin, Wally, Dennis, Tommy and Bobby Altgilbers; and his wife Eileen M. Altgilbers.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Altgilbers, Cindy Scheall (James) and Tina Snyder (Gary). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and many beloved great-grandchildren.
