He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelio Valdez and Cruzita Valdez; his wife Rachel Valdez; and his siblings, Frutosa Dupree, Edumenia Martinez, Criselda Trujillo, Mary Garcia, Rosinaldo Valdez, Floyd Valdez, Eddie Valdez, Miguel Valdez and Richard Valdez.
He is survived by: his sons, Jose Glenn Valdez (Teri), Wilber Valdez and Tom Valdez; his granddaughter Norma Valdez; his siblings, Alisandra Martinez, Irene Valdez, Clyde Valdez (Lucille), Ruben Valdez (Jenny) and David Valdez (Grace); and his great grandchildren, Eric Valdez, Michael Valdez, AJ Fraga, Clint Valdez, Tommy Espinoza, Derrick Espinoza, Daniel Espinoza, Kai Valdez and Tyrese Holbrook. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
