He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cecil and Juanita King; his son Tracy King; his grandson Devlin Sheets; his sisters, Phyllis, Janice and Jane; and his close friend Martha Raper.

He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Jo; and his brothers, Cecil King, Tracy King and Wayne King. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
