He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Chavez and Margarita Chavez; and his brother Raymond Chavez. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice L Chavez; his children, Salvador J Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, Eugene W. Chavez (Frances) of Rio Rancho, NM and Amy L Chavez of Grants, NM; his grandchildren, Tyler Chavez, Athan Chavez, Mathew Chavez-Garcia, Raquel Chavez and Haley Chavez; his siblings, Corrine Padilla (Fred) of Grants, NM, Viola Martinez (Mike) of Henderson, NV, Theresa Dominguez (Martin) of Algodones, NM and Anthony Chavez (Annie) of Arlington, TX.; and also, Noah, Isaac and Eli Chavez.
