She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Gonzales; her parents, Gabriel Chavez and Manuela Chavez; her siblings, Raymond Chavez, Gabriel Chavez Jr. and Mercedes Chavez; and her nieces and nephews, Phillip Tafoya, Patrick Martinez, Juan Martinez, Rick Vallejos, Deborah Aragon and Christie Martinez.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Gonzales and Shauna Gonzales; and her siblings, Ruben Chavez (Song Hui), Michael Chavez, Sofia Martinez, Rosemary Tafoya (David), Agnes Martinez (Pat) and Sandra Padilla.
