He was predeceased by: his son Billy Christie; and his son-in-law Mark Scherwitt. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hines of Fort Sumner; his children, Kenneth Hines (Kathy) of Clovis, Debra Scherwitt of Katy, Jami De Jane (Guy) of Mead and Tonya Elwarth; and his brother William Hines (Janice) of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
