He was predeceased by: his parents, Victorio Escojeda and Laura Escojeda; and his siblings, Marshal Ray Escojeda, Johnny Escojeda, Mary Moreno, Joann Escojeda and Rosie Gurule.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Cruz (Joe), Jesse Escojeda (Paige), Kim Escojeda (Losha) and Goldie Escojeda; his siblings, David Escojeda, Della King, Nenea Gallegos, Lilly Delgado, Bernadine Acosta and Peggy Madrid; and his grandchildren, Eric Cruz (Ibeth), Ashley Grijalva (Jesus), Francisca Anchondo, Manuel Lujan, Serinaty, Santanita and Jesse Paige Escojeda. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
