James Luther Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Luther Sr. of Farmington, New Mexico, born in Durango, Colorado, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Houston Luther and Bonnie Lou Harris Luther; his son Ken Luther, Jr.; and his siblings, Martin Luther and Sharlene McMinn-Fredricks.
He is survived by: his wife Irene C. Luther; his daughters, Jeannine Stavely (late Butch), Shirlene Deal (James) and Katherine Morgan (Charlie); his sister Beverly Fleeger of Dallas, TX.; his grandchildren, Kris Stavely (Marshal), Caitlin Geiger (Derrick), Jaime Woods (Ron), James Deal, Sr., Lindsay Luther, Nicole Trujillo (Casey), Dustin Luther (Janelle) and Jimmy Rowland (Jennifer); and also, Paula Luther-Arocho and Rob Newth. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter with a second great-great-granddaughter.
