With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Whinery of Eunice, New Mexico, born in Elgin, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Earl and Maxine Davidson; her sisters, Jean Ford, Janice Davidson and Ann Russell; her son Laike Whinery; and her grandson Josh Fulkerson.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Whinery of Eunice, NM; her children, Roberta Henderson of Hobbs, NM, Pennie Fulkerson of Elgin, OK, Suzy Kirby of Cartwright, OK and Clifton Whinery of Ypsilanti, MI; and her siblings, Louis Earl of Wichita Falls, TX and Linda Gray of Wichita Falls, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
