She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lopez and Angelita Lopez (Chavez); her sons, Gus R Gallegos, Herman Gallegos and Art G Gallegos Jr.; her siblings, Manuel Lopez, Jesusito Lopez and Theresa Fernandez; and her grandson Kenneth Sandoval.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Gallegos; her sons, Senator David Gallegos (Sonya) of Eunice and Kevin Gallegos of Denver, Colorado.; her daughters-in-law, Rochel (Gus), Elisa (Herman), Laura (Art) and Tela (Kevin); her siblings, Herman Lopez Jr. (Yvonne) of Granbury, Willie Lopez (Olivia) of Pueblo, Jose Antonio Lopez (Margie) of Parker, Colorado., Cruzita Segura of Clayton, Connie Roybal of Las Cruces, Sylvia Baca (Richard) of Los Lunas, Alicia Sanchez of Lovington and Ermalinda Alcorta (William) of Lovington; her grandchildren, Erin Gallegos, Amber Gallegos, Megan Gallegos, Jennifer De Los Santos, Danielle Maldonado (Joe), Rocky Gallegos, Cruz Gallegos-Martinez, Ramsey Martinez, Mia Gallegos, Zeke Gallegos and Dirk Gallegos; her great grandchildren, Mariah Maldonado, Alyssa Maldonado and Kierra Gallegos; and her great great grandchild Katie Marie Gallegos. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
