She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel H. Perez and Maria Elena Perez (Rivera); her siblings, Jenaro, Lorenzo, Daniel, Tony, Claudia, Frances, Natividad and Rosa; and her great grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Alba and Isaiah Panez.
She is survived by: her husband Sammy C Alvarez of Deming, NM.; her children, Cecilia Strickland of Deming, NM, Patricia Alvarez (Marvin Sims), Priscilla Torres (Benny Torres) of Deming, NM, Alex Alvarez of Deming, NM, Sammy Alvarez Jr. (Isabelle Juarez), Tony Alvarez (Carol Alvarez) of Deming, NM and Eddie Alvarez of Deming, NM.; and her son-in-law James "Wade" Strickland. She is also survived by NUMEROUS grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
