She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Vela and Nicolasa Vela (Garcia); and her siblings, Serving (Marco Olivas), Emanuel Hernandez and Miguel Escareño.
She is survived by: her husband Rito Escareño; her children, Francisco Martin (Narcisa), Ernesto (Jodi), Rito Escareño, Evangelina Olivas (Marco) and Maria Escareño (Emanuel Hernandez); and her sisters, Elena Diaz Garcia and Alicia Diaz Garcia (David Torres). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren.
