He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Manuela; his children, Javier Castro (Maria Rutiaga) of Columbus, Jorge Castro (Elisa) of Canyon, TX and Reyna Cuevas of Columbus; and his siblings, Gilberto Castro (Laurencia, Miguel Castro), Fidel Castro (Gloria) of Phoenix, AZ, Alicia Castro of Ascencion, Angelina Palacios of Ascencion, Adela Castro of Deming, Elvida Diaz of Agua Prieta, MX, Rosa Emma Contreras (Gerardo) of Los Lunas, NM and Jesus Castro. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
