He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Vigil and Arturo Vigil of Chimayo; his brother Sam Vigil of Chimayo; and his nieces, Lori Vigil of Chimayo and Yvonne Bustos Calvert of Espanola.
He is survived by: his son Michael Vigil (Linda) of Chimayo; his granddaughter Jade Vigil of Tierra Amarilla; his close friend Linda Padilla of Chimayo; his sisters, Ruby Maes and Helen Bustos (Lawrence) of Espanola; his stepdaughters, Jeannette Montano (Juan), Denise Padilla (Joey) and Audrey Padilla (Ambrose); the mother of his child Celina Vigil of Chimayo; his stepgrandson Josiah Montano; his nephews, Gabriel Archuleta, Sammy Vigil Jr. and Charles Vigil; and his niece Ashley Sandoval. He is also survived by his family, friends and neighbors.
