He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Travelstead and Dora Alice Travelstead (Barham); and his brother Tom Travelstead. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smith; his sons, Bill Travelstead and James Travelstead (April); his grandchildren, Danielle Atwood of Aztec, NM, Jessica Heinsohn (Chase) of Carlsbad, NM, Cooper Travelstead (Rebecca) of Carlsbad, NM, Brody Gardner of Carlsbad, NM and Brock Gardner of Bastrop, TX; his great grandchildren, Kylee Atwood, Rhett Atwood, Skylar Atwood, Aiden Heinsohn, Braelynn Heinsohn, Chloe Heinsohn, Daliya Heinsohn and Hadley Travelstead; and his brother-in-law Harlen Smith (Betsy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
