Vigilia Renteria Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 79, Vigilia Renteria of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Aguilar and Fuasta Aguilar (Martinez); her husband Gilbert Renteria; and her sister Rita Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Renteria (Carolyn) of Carlsbad, Jaime Renteria of Carlsbad and Isabel Renteria (Danitza) of Carlsbad; her siblings, Gloria Rivas (Aurelio) of Carlsbad, Josie Sanchez of Artesia, Ruby Ruiz of Lovington, Rosa Chavez (Ben), Francis Nena Martinez of Loving, Larry Aguilar (Mary) of El Paso and Jack Aguilar (Emily) of California; and her grandchildren, Samuel, Samantha, Jaime Renteria, Markianah Villareal of Carlsbad and Jacob Castillo of Las Vegas, NM. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter and numerous nephews and nieces.
