He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Forrest; his children, Richard J. Forrest, Jr. (Susan) of Carlsbad, NM, Sherry (Paul Campbell) of Hobbs, NM and Collette (Warren Breedlove) of Lubbock, TX; his siblings, Robert "Bob" H. Forrest, Sr. (Barbara) and Gloria Wilson of Carlsbad, NM; his grandchildren, Skye Forrest of Tuscon, AZ, Summer Larsen (Zac) of Denver, CO, Jeremy Ryan (Melissa) of El Paso, TX, Kelli Claussen (Brandon) of Lubbock, TX, Kristi Finley (Chance) of Abilene, TX, Shaun Ryan (Minda) of Roswell, NM, Trace Ryan (Marissa) of Lubbock, TX, Ashley Cameron (Cash) of Lakeway, TX, Kyle Campbell (Amber) of Midland, TX and Richard J. "Bubba" Forrest, III of Lubbock, TX; and his pet Mia. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
