She was predeceased by: her parents, Herculano Sandate and Lucia Sandate; her husband Max M. Vasquez; her siblings, Gabino, Manuel, Jesus, Gregorio Sandate, Amelia Chavez, Lupe Botello and Mary Helen Dorado; and her grandson Aaron Vasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Lucy Gomez-Moreno (Frank), Richard Vasquez, Max Jr. Vasquez (Brenda), Mary Smith (Bart), Daniel Vasquez, Lawrence Vasquez, Mark Vasquez, Pamela McPherson (Mike), John Vasquez and Henry Vasquez (Felicia); and her brother Joe Sandate. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
