She was predeceased by: her parents, L. A. "Hollie" Holland and Ruth Holland (Jones); her brother Roy Holland; and her son-in-law Robert Ortiz, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband G. C. Thompson; and her children, Darla Ortiz of Carlsbad, NM, Steven Thompson (Susie) of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Janet Brumfield (Tim) of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
