He is survived by: his grandson Alan; his great-niece Kimberly; his wife Alma Janice Meeker (Weems); his children, Paula Janice and David; his brother John Meeker (Anne); and his sisters-in-law, Jewel Weems and Wanda Cogburn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
