He is survived by: his wife Fay Chrisien Smith; his son Kirk Lea Smith; his aunt Lorene Walker Martel; and his nephews, Paul Schweke (Ellen) and Peter Schweke. He is also survived by 6 beautiful grandchildren, one great niece, one great nephew and two great-great nieces.
