He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Navarrette and Victoria Navarrette (Ortega); his wife Jessie Navarrette; his sons, Leroy and Lonnie Navarrette; and his grandson Eric Navarrette.
He is survived by: his son Alonso M. Navarrette (Gloria); and his sister Chita Santillan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
