He was predeceased by: his father L. V. Pennington; his son Chad Pennington; his grandson Kolton David Pennington; his brother Leo Pennington; his brother-in-law Ron Frederick; and his nephew Eldon Pennington.
He is survived by: his mother Mildred Standard Pennington of Carlsbad, NM; his wife Kay Pennington; his sons, Milton C. Pennington (Cheryl) of Artesia, Elton Pennington (Morena) of Carlsbad, Brandon Pennington (Ashlee) of Carlsbad and David Pennington of Artesia; his daughter-in-law Olga Pennington of Carlsbad; his grandchildren, Tamatha McCauley (Riley), Katelin, Mae, Jane, Nayomi Pennnington, Jordon Tidwell (James), Britney Molena (Chase), Faith, Abigail, Hannah Pennington, Katy, Kaylee, Charity Pennington, Chloe Pennington, William, Jackson and Konnor Pennington; his great grandchildren, DeLynn, Kyle, Bailie McCauley, Leigha, Eli Tidwell, Braxton Dart, Cooper Molena and Brogan Melendrez; his siblings, Brenda Frederick of Carlsbad, Carolyn Menzdorf (Eddy), Becky Pennington of Carlsbad and Tony Pennington of Lubbock, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Pennington of Artesia, Virginia McNulty and Barbara Rogers of Roswell, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
