We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2024, at the age of 76, Joann Tijerina in Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Clovis, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Reyes Tijerina; her parents, Joe Sandoval and Lupe Sandoval; and her brother Sammy Sandoval (Denise Cleavinger). She is survived by: her daughter Justina Anderson; her son-in-law Kenny Anderson; and her siblings, Albert Sandoval (Maggie Sandoval) and Cindy Candelaria (Walter Candelaria). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
