We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2024, at the age of 91, Cesaria M. Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Monticello, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emilio Candelaria Chavez; her daughter Dolores Chavez; her grandchildren, Marcos Nava, Jr. and Savannah Chavez; her parents, Natividad Archuleta Montoya and Ysidra Miranda Montoya; her siblings, Charlie Montoya, Jimmie Montoya, Encarnacion, Nate, Pedro, Aurora and Pablo; and her grandmother Ysidra.
She is survived by: her children, Eva (Jimmie Bierner) of Albuquerque, Johnny (Stacey Chavez) of Albuquerque, David Chavez of Albuquerque, Albert Chavez (Ernie Esquibel) of Albuquerque, Darlene Chavez of Albuquerque, Christopher "Chris" (Anette Chavez) of Albuquerque and Ericca C. Gallegos of Albuquerque; and her siblings, Eusebio (Erlinda Montoya), Josefita "Josie" Gurule of Albuquerque, Eloy (Sue Crowder), Edwardo "Eddy" (Molly Montoya), Alex Montoya of Santa Clara, NM and Richard (Sharon Montoya). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
