She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J. Scherer; her son Frank Jude Scherer (Teri) of Aberdeen, WA; her parents, Giovina and Beniamino Calvitti; and her siblings, Carmella Perricelli, Joseph Calvitti and Filomena Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Marks (William J.) of Hawthorne, Henry Scherer of Easton, PA, Michael Scherer (Cindy) of North Haledon and Karen Grygus (Bruce) of Wanaque; her grandchildren, William F. Marks (Trudy), Dayna Devine (Richard), Scott Scherer (Katie), Tracy Matino (Louis), Matthew Scherer, Michael Scherer (Ilana), Brandon Grygus and Matthew Grygus; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Isabella, Aidan, Gavin, Cole, Ava, Kaitlin, Ryan, Matthew, Odin and Mazie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
