He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna Alexis; his daughter Irene Maltzan; his son-in-law Bob Miller; his grandchildren, Robert Monroe (Carolyn Monroe), Daniel Monroe, Katerina Maltzan and Ian Maltzan; his great grandchildren, Robert Monroe Jr. and Lauren Monroe; and his parent Belgium.
