He is survived by: his spouse Angela Portella (Peloso); his children, Joanne Marino (Richard), Paul Portella (Pauline), Janet Fornaro (Claudio) and Joseph Portella (Rosemary); and his siblings, Albert Portella and Edie Gansereit. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
