He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Leo McSweeney; his parents, John James and Mary McSweeney; and his sister Marie O'Keefe. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his daughter Mary Kay Blanco; his son-in-law Richard; his son Michael Joseph McSweeney; his daughter-in-law Yoko; his grandchildren, Amelia and Matthew; his pet Charlie; and his sister Kathleen Mulcahy.
