It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy T. Sarokhan (Woodland Park, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sarokhan; and her son Robert J. Sarokhan. She is survived by: her children, Brenda J. Sarokhan (Mark S. Pasterick) of Woodland Park, Nancy E. Sarokhan Peterson (Jeffrey W. Peterson) of Woodland Park, Carol L. Surowiec (Robert F. Surowiec) of Wayne and Alan J. Sarokhan; her grandchildren, Joseph A. Sarokhan, Emily J. Sarokhan Truss (Brian C. Truss), Alison K. Sarokhan Lavery and Jennifer G. Peterson; her great grandchild Hudson Joseph Truss; her brother Haig Markarian, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Harriet and Armine L. Sarokhan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
