He was predeceased by: his son William J Purden; his parents, Marguerite P Purden, and Robert L Purden, Sr.; and his brother James (late Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Purden; his daughter Tara McManus (Tim); his grandchildren, Matthew, Cheryl, Tim, Ethan and Kiera; his sisters, Elsie (late Dave) and Marge (Tony); and his siblings-in-law, George (Amy), Robert (Jane), Rick (Elise), Teresa (Tony), Janet (Jim), Rose (Mike) and Joe (Cindi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
