She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Lopez and Albert "Pete" Lopez; and her husband Francis Dearlove. She is survived by: her children, Randall Dearlove of Avalon, Paula Dearlove (Frederick Kaehler) of Mantua and Thomas Dearlove (Catherine) of Wilmington, Delaware.; her friends, Jim Husted of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota and Ruthie Costello of Woodbury; and also Audrey Dearlove.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's name may be made to the Avalon Free Public Library at 235 32nd St, Avalon, NJ 08202.
