He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Sanderson and Mary Sanderson (Powell). He is survived by: his siblings, Jack, Alfred (Tommie) and Kathryn Worthington (Norton); his wife Judith (Burnett); his children, Patricia Sanderson (Francis Walls), Donald Sanderson Jr. and Heather Tierney (John); his grandchildren, Harry Walls, Alice Walls (Christopher Carlantonio), Jack Tierney, Kevin Tierney and Eleanor Sanderson; his great grandchildren, Mikaela and Marlee; his brother Kenneth Sanderson (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Richard Burnett (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Those desiring may make a contribution to the "Don and Judy Sanderson Scholarship Fund" for athletes and civic-minded graduates of Woodbury High School or in Don's name to Central Baptist Church.
