He is survived by: his wife Jacalyn Belafsky; his children, Seth Kandel (Jennifer) and Marissa Fernandez (Matthew); his siblings, Shelley Reese (Adam), Gary Kandel (Debra Bain) and Paul Kandel (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Alexander, Conor and Reagan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
