He is survived by: his wife Helen Swisher Hemingway; his children, Elmer Hemingway, Jr. (Loretta Rollins), Thomas Hemingway (Shirley), Frank Reeves (Jen), Charles Hemingway (Brandy) and Tammy Jalette; his siblings, Larry Dixon, Emma Testa, Barbara Errickson and Cathy Foster; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Chloe, Hailey, Melinda, Matthew and Ethan.
