He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fence and Ida Fence; his wife Karen Fence (Hayes); and his siblings, William Fence and Joan Defibaugh (Fence).
He is survived by: his children, Doreen, Karen, William, Steven and Brian; and his grandchildren, Allen, Brandon, Jackie, Christian, Erin, Justin, Billy, Emily, Brady, Caleb and Liam. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
