We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2021, at the age of 74, Phyllis Strong of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Schafer and Albert Schafer; her husband Arnold Strong; her stepfather Ernest Sousa; her siblings, Jonny Sousa, Rodney Sousa, Victoria Armshaw and Pamela Sousa; her nephew Alan Archer; and her brothers-in-law, Alan Strong and Gary Strong.
She is survived by: her children, Gladys Strong of Jackson, NJ and Ernie Strong of Brick, NJ; her grandchildren, Sara Strong and Anthony Strong; her sister-in-law Barbara Jamerson; her nieces, Tammy Archer and Kristy Archer; her nephew Chris McHugh; her great-nephew Ross Archer; her great-nieces, Christine Archer, Carol Samaniego and Allison MeCheck; and her daughter Glady.
In lieu of flowers we ask you to put that money aside and join us on our trip to Niagara Falls and celebrate Phyllis' Life.
