Marilyn V. Sortor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn V. Sortor of Whiting, New Jersey, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Horner and Thelma Horner; her husband Clarence Sortor; her daughter Phyllis Lynn Kownacki; her son-in-law James Kownacki; her daughters, Pamela Carpenter and Cynthia Caserta; her grandchildren, Robert Reali (Patty), Amanda Duman (Nate), Jessica Cavendish (Chance), Carlo Carpenter and Mark Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Bryan Reali, Teresa Reali and Case Duman. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
