It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry H. Schmitt of Whiting, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Schmitt and Lina Krause Schmitt; his wife Dorothy Bohlmann Schmitt; and his son-in-law Jack Youchah. He is survived by: his children, Susan Youchah, Joanne Schmitt, William Schmitt (Chrissie) and Paul Schmitt (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jacqueline (Michael), Kimberly, Kenneth, Karla, Mallory John (Chris), Amanda (Jay), Erica (Austin), Danielle (Alex) and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Hayden and Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID 19, the funeral home is currently following the CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks.
