He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, John III (Janelle) and Michael Courts (Karen); his stepson Bill (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jack, Timothy, Christopher, Daniel, Kayla, Kylie and Keira Klatt; and his sister Elizabeth Paul.
