It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Babitz of Wayne, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on November 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband John J. Babitz, Jr.; her children, Bryan Babitz (Ruth) of Zephyrhills, FL, Cheryl Barnes (Kevin) of Totowa and John Babitz (Lisa) of Maiden, NC; her extended family, Diane Simon of Euless, TX and Paul Simon of Grand Prairie, TX; and her grandchildren, Liz Babitz, Johnny Babitz, Lexi Babitz, Kevin Barnes, Jake Barnes and Christopher Fuentes.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, she found a unique way to make a difference.

Instead of flowers the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the Alzheimer's New Jersey, or the St Jude Children's Research Hospital to honor Gayle's memory.
