He was predeceased by: his wife Lynn D. Kinahan; and his brother Billy. He is survived by: his children, Scott Kinahan, Tracy Trivigno (Sontino), Kristin Kinahan (Anthony Caldwell) and Cory Kinahan (Ula); his grandchildren, Jaedon Kinahan and Breeana Trivigno; and his siblings, Ann Marie Masek and Charles Kinahan.
