He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hackett and Mary Bailey; and his grandson Leon Hackett III. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Deborah DeRemer, Leon Hackett Jr., James Hackett and Jeffrey Hackett (Mary Ellen); and his grandchildren, Kari (Walter), Aaron, Michelle and Mason.
