He was predeceased by: his parent Vasil Sopiak; and his wife Olga. He is survived by: his children, Olga (Robert) and Ladislav (Jana); his grandchildren, Patricia (Nick) and Patrik; his children, Bentley, Rilynn and Jan; and his siblings, Maria, Anna, Irena and Imrich.
